Uzbek artist Ortikali Kozokov exhibits at Center of National Arts

Tashkent`s Center of National Arts is housing prominent Uzbek artist Ortikali Kozokov`s solo exhibition. The opening ceremony of the art show was held today to coincide with the artist`s 50th anniversary and brought together his colleagues, art professionals, friends, fans, members of the diplomatic corps and journalists. Organized by the Fund Forum and IJOD Association of Artists, Art Historians and Craftsmen, the exhibition will last until November 27.

The International Photo Biennale "TashkentAle-2010", which will be held as part of the Art Week Style.Uz in Tashkent on October 9-15 and organized by the Forum, Tashkent House of Photography and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, will feature works by photographers from 38 countries. Venues for Biennale will come from various exhibition sites in Tashkent.
