Master classes and presentations offered by upcoming Navqiron O`zbekiston Festival

From August 17 to 24, Tashkent`s Youth Creativity Center will host master classes by local artists, art historians, designers and other art professionals, which will be held as part of the fourth Navqiron O`zbekiston Festival. The opening ceremony of the Festival, organized by the Fund Forum every two years, will take place on August 16 at 6 p.m.

Navqiron O`zbekiston (Young Uzbekistan) Festival of Traditional and Contemporary Art – 2010, organized by the Fund Forum every two years, will start on August 16. Every day throughout a week the event will offer master classes during which experienced art professionals will share their skills, knowledge and tips while the attendants will have an opportunity to use their newly gained skills on canvases, fabrics, clay, etc.

In addition, from August 17 to 24, the participants of the Festival will do presentations of their newly devised projects.

Attendance at the master classes and presentations is free of charge.
